Privacy Policy
The short version: Sneaklings has no user accounts, no ads, and no analytics. We do not run our own servers and do not collect, store, or sell your personal data. Online play and purchases are handled by the platform services described below.
Who we are
Balagan Games is the studio name of Etay Matzliah, an independent game developer registered in Israel. You can reach us at support@balagangames.com.
What we do NOT do
- We do not require or offer user accounts, registration, or sign-in.
- We do not show advertisements.
- We do not use analytics or tracking SDKs.
- We do not sell, rent, or share personal data with third parties for marketing.
- We do not operate servers that store your data.
Online multiplayer (Epic Online Services)
Sneaklings uses Epic Online Services (EOS), operated by Epic Games, Inc., for lobbies, matchmaking, and connecting players. To make this work:
- The game creates an anonymous device identifier on your device. It is not linked to your name, email, or any account, and is used only to keep you connected to game sessions.
- Your IP address is processed transiently by Epic's infrastructure to route game traffic between players. We never see or store it.
- The nickname you enter and your in-game actions (such as paint strokes) are visible to the other players in your session while you play. They are not stored after the session ends.
Epic Games processes this data under its own privacy policy: Epic Games Privacy Policy.
Purchases
In-app purchases and paid downloads are processed entirely by the platform store you use — Google Play (Google), the App Store (Apple), or Steam (Valve). We never receive your payment details. Refunds and payment questions are handled by the respective store under its own policies.
Children
Sneaklings is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Online sessions can include other players, so we recommend that younger teens play with people they know.
Data security and retention
Because we do not collect or store personal data ourselves, there is nothing for us to retain or delete. Data processed by Epic Games or the platform stores is governed by their policies, linked above.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or similar laws), you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data. Since we hold none, requests concerning multiplayer or purchase data should be directed to Epic Games or your platform store. If you are unsure, email us and we will point you the right way.
Changes to this policy
If we ever change how the game handles data (for example, adding a new online feature), we will update this page and change the effective date above.
